Mad Max was released earlier this month and it’s getting a lot of positive reviews (93% of 7500 on Steam are positive). It’s retailing for about $50 on Steam, but what if I told you that you could get it for less than half of that?
If you’ve never heard of G2A, they’re an awesome place to buy PC games, and if you get what they call the “G2A shield” (only $1.50 extra or so), then your purchase is 100% guaranteed to work or you get a refund / another key. G2A is where I buy basically any AAA title, and you can usually find games for super cheap. Like Mad Max for $23USD on release day. No, I’m serious, people are actually selling it for 50% less on G2A than on Steam.
It’s actually pretty rare to see a game go up for so cheap on release day, take Metal Gear Solid 5 as an example, it’s still about $50 on G2A which is still less than what it’s going for on Steam. That’s usually how it goes to, so I’m really not too sure why exactly Mad Max is being sold for so cheap, but it is. I took advantage of the deal this morning, and everything seems to have worked. I didn’t have a chance to actually play it yet, but I installed it and nothing spontaneously blew up, so I should be good.
So to summarize, if you’re considering picking yourself up a copy of Mad Max, I would strongly suggest checking the prices on G2A before you buy it on Steam, same goes for any AAA title. At the time of writing this Mad Max is selling for around, if not lower than $20, which is more than 50% less than what it’s selling for on Steam, if that’s not a good deal then I guess I don’t know what is.
What do you think? Will you be getting Mad Max for 50% off, or did you already pay full retail for it? Let us know in the comments!
