The response time is just on the cusp of game ready at 5 milliseconds, so this monitor will support gaming with little difficulty, but won’t compete with more specialized displays. It also is compatible with AMD’s FreeSync software which means you can link your refresh rate and framerate which is very handy for ensuring your games are as smooth as possible.

Using this monitor was the first time I encountered the “GamePlus Crosshair” feature, which I found very interesting. It allows you to place a crosshair anywhere on your screen which I found especially useful when doing LASO runs in Halo Reach. It is a very niche feature, but in those few times where you might need it, you will be extremely happy to not have to do something like put tape on your screen or something like that.
